Smart Writer, Context-Aware Visuals, and Site Structure Audits Are Now Live
We shipped three new capabilities this month: Smart Writer for in-editor section regeneration, Context-Aware Visuals that pull article context into image prompts, and Site Structure Audits that surface cannibalization risks across an entire domain.
We shipped three new capabilities in May 2026. Each one was already running internally for a few months — we waited until they held up under real workloads before promoting them to general availability.
Smart Writer for in-editor section regeneration
Smart Writer is a per-section regeneration tool inside the editor. Instead of regenerating an entire article when one section underperforms, you select the section, point Smart Writer at it, and get a focused rewrite that respects the surrounding context.

The cost difference matters. A 6,000-word article costs 2 credits in Advanced Mode; a single section regeneration costs nothing extra inside Smart Writer. For editorial passes — fixing a thin section, rewriting an introduction, expanding a use case — the math now favors targeted rewrites over full regenerations.
Why this matters
Most teams ran their editorial pass in a separate tool because regenerating a full article to fix one section was wasteful. Smart Writer brings that pass back into Agility Writer.
Context-Aware Visuals
Context-Aware Visuals takes the article’s headings, key entities, and visual hints from the surrounding paragraphs and feeds that context into the image prompt automatically. The result is hero images and inline visuals that match the article’s actual subject — not generic stock-style art that happens to use the right colors.

For affiliate and editorial publishers who care about image-text alignment, this is a clean upgrade. Pair it with AI-Generated Images for the full image budget per article.
Site Structure Audits
Site Structure Audits run across an entire domain (via GSC connection) and surface cannibalization risks: pages competing for the same query, internal-link patterns that concentrate authority on the wrong page, and topical clusters with thin coverage.
| Audit signal | What it surfaces |
|---|---|
| Cannibalization | Two+ pages ranking for the same head query |
| Authority misallocation | High-authority pages without internal links to underperforming siblings |
| Thin clusters | Topical clusters with fewer than 3 supporting pieces |
| Indexation gaps | Generated pages that never indexed |
Output is a prioritized list of merge / consolidate / expand actions. Most agencies running multi-client work pick this up first and run it monthly across all clients.
What’s next
We’ve started rolling out beta multilingual support for G-Smart Optimizer. Spanish, French, German, and Dutch are first; Bahasa Melayu and Vietnamese are queued for late summer.
